Some important distribution updates May 2023

Greetings, here are a few new points of interest that we would like to put in this May 2023 circular to you.

1 - If you notice that a report hasn't been sent to you, or if you need copy of an old report, please ask for a copy.  Some email systems filter email with PDF attachments into spam and this can result in reports being overlooked. All reports are now online generated so we can provide missing sales data going back five years.

2 - Payments made to bank accounts listed as your current accounts are almost impossible to retrieve, mostly due to the admin involved, but also due to a lack of cooperation from banks. Please see that your current details are given to us. Preferably show the account details on your current invoices. Payments to your last listed bank account are regarded as due fulfillment of our obligations in respect of the licenses concerned.

3 - Officially no streaming usage in the Russian Federation is presently being collected. This does not mean that all the listings have been removed from these countries. There are anomalies in the cases of platforms with cross territory rights but for the moment no new listings will take place in these states.

4 - Publishing payouts and publishing licenses don't come from LTE Distribution. We do, by arrangement, administer your mechanical license obligations and these are paid over to the relevant organizations by our partners in the USA. At no stage do we collect publishing licenses on your behalf. You should deal with your collection society on this aspect of business.

5 - Overstocks of physical products held in our warehouse are to be charged at 0,02 Euro per unit per month. This refers to slow moving titles only. The cost of destroying overstocks is 0,54 Euro per unit. Return of goods is done on a prior to return quotation basis.

Best wishes,

Patrick
