here are some more points of interest that we would like to put in this new circular to you.
1 - Cover art lightness and sound tech. Please review, for correction, the representation of your new releases that we send to you with a promo-link pre-release.
BUT also please be aware that the platforms have their own tech standards for lightness and colour representation and even sound quality. This we can not control.
2 - Verify on Spotify. Increasingly there is duplication of artist names and Spotify don't deal with this very well, often lumping releases from different artists with the same name under one search title.

3 - Minimum revenue. There are some titles where the turnover threshold of 10$ USA per release, per year is not reached. Reports for these are usually held back for future multiple year reporting. Please feel free to inquire about sales data if you notice there is a title unreported.
4 - Single songs. If you want a single track by a new artist distributed this is possible though bare in mind that we, as of now will build in an option to at least one future recording by the artists concerned in the case of a new act. This is partly due to the fact that setting up a new act profile in our system and providing the basic internal promo material for platforms is time consuming.
This arrangement is not built into all our distribution deals but we would like to ask for your agreement for the future if it is not in your existing deal.
5 - Label work. In most cases we are only your distributors, meaning that the marketing of your releases is the responsibility of your label. We can assist where there is an overlap if your label keeps us in the loop. Where we offer shell label services you are still responsible for marketing and for getting all the right metadata to us pre-release.
6 - Past circulars. We send out these circulars several times a year if there are relevant changes to the way we work. I will keep them short if I can. Please however review the previous messages about delivery times for new masters, promo requirements, metadata etc. - sent previously. Go to the top right of this page and select from the archive for the last four circulars.
